Indeed, there were plenty of people predicting that for the previous iteration. That hasn't changed much: here's The Motley Fool earlier this year Why the Sony PS4 and Microsoft X-Box One may be the last consoles you ever buy

Of course, no-one is suggesting that's because the PC will rule supreme. That, too, has been on its last legs according to futurologists for some years now. I guess the plan is to stand in the middle of the ice-flow as it melts, poised to leap in any direction should dry land appear.Bhagpusshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03499162165023939880noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1510920011443550663.post-32023927419619124062015-04-29T08:46:10.870+01:002015-04-29T08:46:10.870+01:00It's clear to me his idea of the future on MMO...It's clear to me his idea of the future on MMORPG's is to remove the RPG and replace it with cheap, throw away,15 minute content. Essentially the FPS/MOBA crowds idea of fun.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16516677270703152907noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1510920011443550663.post-27547042618860981052015-04-29T01:31:37.655+01:002015-04-29T01:31:37.655+01:00I'm usually bored by these kind of interviews,...I'm usually bored by these kind of interviews, but your commentary is priceless.Ravanelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03447777640056476366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1510920011443550663.post-19351453133629957932015-04-28T23:01:08.422+01:002015-04-28T23:01:08.422+01:00Smed can say what he wants, but I still think that...Smed can say what he wants, but I still think that eye was modeled straight from a Nek Forest owlbear. We don't need MMOs where we're going!" attitude and the idea that the only thing holding SOE back was the fact that they couldn't be on PlayStation AND Xbox makes me wince a bit. The market has changed, but I am not sure that Daybreak is poised to be a player by neglecting their foundation products.

And, of course, what does this mean for EverQuest Next Year in Freeport?Wilhelm Arcturushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07033496821708933394noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1510920011443550663.post-6354680618700721482015-04-28T21:53:08.263+01:002015-04-28T21:53:08.263+01:00Lead a happier life...never read anything said by ...Lead a happier life...never read anything said by Smed.
