    Wow. I'd never heard that Martin Mull novelty song before. (And to be honest, I'm surprised that he's still around. For some reason I thought he'd passed away a decade ago.)

    I kind of snickered that Sonic Youth's cover even redid the intro, and admittedly it was creepier than the original.

      I found the Sonic Youth one first and it was so harsh I wasn't sure whether I'd use it . Then I listened to the original and thought I'd pair them up. I only really know Martin Mull as an actor, particularly from Roseanne, where his appearance a sa regular kind of marks the decline of the show, although not through any fault of his. I always forget he was a kind of counter-culture satirist before that.
