    WTH, how did I miss Simple Plan's concert? It was on Fox, but then again that's likely the reason why: no need to give Rupert Murdoch more money.

    The Maine has a 90s acoustic sound that I really like. I'll have to chase down some more of their stuff.

    You can tell that punk influenced Joyce Manor's sound. Or rather, this is far enough removed that it could have been Grunge that influenced their sound nowadays.

    Damn, I like the sound of all three, really.

      Oops! Forgot to reply! Blame it on Christmas. I had a lot of pop-punk and midwest emo on my longlist. They're genres that lends themselves well to Christmas songs, the bouncy, upbeat fun of the season at one end and the maudlin, miserable left-out loneliness at the other.
