    No idea what she was singing, but it's a nice, upbeat song with a good groove. That feedback at the end reminded me of what was used in some of The Who's early stuff (like Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere).

      There are several Japanese songs and artists on the shortlist this year. Where i can find them, I've checked the translations to make sure they are actually about Christmas and/or the season in general. A surprising number of songs with December/Winter or even Christmas in the title turn out not to be about anything of the sort and that's when they're in English, so it's best not to make any assumptions.

      I couldn't find a full translation of the lyrics for this one but the description on the Lucie, Too Bandcamp page says "the song bout worst Christmas for a lonely girl who went on a date with Taken guy" so I think we're covered :)
