    Oh man, that Marcels song sounds like right out of a Chubby Checker album. (Yes, Dad had a couple of them.) And not to be outdone, Santa Town USA also channels those old 50s/early 60s vibes.

      I associate the Marcels with Doo-Wop rather than the Twist craze. Doo-Wop is one of those genres that seems to sound better the older it gets, whereas all twist tunes sound pretty much the same to me. Which is fine, I guess. I mean, it's a good tune...
