    From the moment I heard the first guitar strings, I loved that Harvey Danger song. (And boy, do I miss our local Half Price Books store; it closed because the owner of the property decided he could get more money from somebody else so he jacked up the rent and kicked them out. TL;DR: the property is still empty, 2 years later.)

    Crowder... I can get behind Elf Awareness like this. It's got a nice Memphis groove. Although the Elves I know are a wee bit bigger than 2 feet tall.

      I really need to look into getting a whole Harvey Danger album. I've liked everything I've heard by them. This is particularly well put together, I think. Great dynamics.

      I'm not crazy about The Elf Song on its own merits, although it's a nice enough novelty number, but I thought the two paired so well thematically it was impossible to resist posting them together.
