    Damn.
    This one hit me much harder than I would have ever guessed. I think that it's because I realized that my oldest won't be able to make it back for Christmas, and the internalization that she truly has left the nest that I'm missing all the old chaos surrounding Christmases past.

      I grew up with moderatley large family Christmases but much as I loved them as a child, I can't say I miss them now. Not when it would be me doing all the organizing!
