    There was a time when I thought I was too hip to enjoy the Monkees, especially when their 80s revival was in full swing, but I eventually realized that I was just being an asshole about it. And really, they never got much credit for their own musicality.

      Yeah, I wasn't big on the revival either but the original run was awesome. So many good songs.
