    I realize that this song is only vaguely about Christmas, but between this and the Nice post today both had a sad nostalgic feel to them.

      I am trying to pair the two sides up in some thematic or stylistic fashion now. It's a bit hit or miss because it depends on what I've got left in the pot but these two seemed like a natural fit. There are an absolute ton of downbeat Christmas songs. A lot of people seem to find the holiday considerably less than jolly.
